User Participation

OpenSource

While we strongly believe in the open source idea, it is not feasible everywhere:
  • It is perfect when competing by a cost advantage with a commercial product.
  • It is counterproductive when competing by a technology advantage with a free product.
You lose your technology advantage to the monopoly and thus empower and manifest it.
Therefore instead of OpenSource we propose an OpenBusiness model.

OpenBusiness

Our success depends on you. We want you to be a part of it. Let's unite our forces in a real partnership.
We are bringing technology and advertising customers, you the hardware. We share revenues with you by 30-50%.

Let us show the world, that an idea that unites many people and lets them participate in success, is superior to the centralized structures of the monopoly.

How it works

The user is participating in the advertising revenues. The share does not depend on the number of ads the user himself is clicking at, but on the number of search queries the own peer is answering.
The more peers and disk space the user is contributing, the longer his peers are online, the more searches are potentially answered. The higher his share on the advertising revenues will be.

During the beta phase we do no advertising besides some tests.
We provide more details, when our user participation program is open.
